My name is Judith Lomax. I was born in Dover and lived in the Camden area and the State of Delaware all of my life. I hold an associates in Computer Information Systems and a bachelors in Accounting. I worked at Kent General Hospital for 24 years in various secretarial positions, then worked for the State of Delaware for 20 years in various secretarial and accounting positions retiring in 2016. I felt drawn to Harvest Years Senior Center because of the "family friendly" atmosphere and the "Seniors Helping Seniors" vibe. I have long been an advocate for those who needed a voice especially those whom have been mistreated. As I myself am approaching the "golden years" I felt a strong need to belong to a center that holds the same values as I do. It is for these reasons I was drawn to become a board member to ensure that the center thrives and grows alongside the growing community and surrounding areas of Camden Delaware.
